1.8.1.6 Managers
Besides their particular duties and responsibilities in their functional areas, Managers
are responsible to:
Promote and enforce adherence to applicable regulation, policies, procedures and
standards;
Advocate and encourage employees to report non-conformities and quality, safety
and security concerns;
Identify root causes and initiate remedial actions to effectively and permanently
eliminate non-conformities;
Execute and control remedial action plans to ensure effective implementation, and
adjust course as deemed necessary;
Initiate, monitor, evaluate and control continuous improvement plans.
