To start by setting your wire stripper for 22 (0.34 mm2) gauge. Take the spool of
black wire and strip a ¼-inch (6 mm) length of insulation from both ends of the wire. With
your needle-nose pliers, carefully bend the bare wire 90 degrees. Bend the second bare
end 90 degrees so that the wire forms a squared “U” shape with the insulation in the
middle. The Figure 4-3 shows example of preparing wire jumper and components for
plugging into the breadboard for contruction the experimetnal circuit.
