In Situ³ is a multi-medial study program, which approaches 2 principles: a specific situation (a theme or an assignment) and free choices and projects. The students/young artists investigate the visual, social and artistic context and execute, if possible, via divers materials and/or techniques their ideas/ concepts. The ‘overall view’ is important. An artwork has a connection with its environment. In Situ³ is looking for the dialogue or interaction between both. The experiment is vital. With trial and error the students/young artists develop their insights and skills. They all share their sustained passion or practice that can lead to unpredictable, personal and moving pictures with their classmates. In their In Situ³ atelier they unfold and discuss, together with their teachers, each personal plan, story or truth. Consequently they explore a wide spectrum of the specific situation and they all meet, creative spirits in progress.
