Therefore, in this study fresh coconut gratings of 45% moisture content (mc) were dried to 3 ± 0.5% mc and then rewetted to 12 ± 1% mc for pressing, whereas fresh groundnuts (7% mc) were rewetted to 12 ± 1% mc. After thorough mixing, 0.8 kg of the prepared samples were placed in four cotton bags measuring 75 mm in diameter × 225 mm long.
