Join us on Saturday for a hike up to Wat Phra Lat and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep via the so called pilgrim's trail. The pilgrim's trail is an old path that goes throught the forest, not the the main road with the cars and traffic.
The hike has two parts. First part is a walk to Wat Phra Lat, which is a fairly easy walk that will take about 40 minutes from the meeting point to the temple. We will then take a short break at the Wat Phra Lat temple, also known as the jungle temple. After the break, you can either return back or continue to the second part. The second part is a walk from the Wat Phra Lat temple to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep which is a bit more demanding hike and it takes about an hour, depending on our speed. The first part is more about relaxing and enjoying the fresh air, the second part is a bit more of a workout. We will adjust our speed accordingly to everyone's needs.
We will be going up the temple and spending as much time as everyone likes. This isn't a formal event, you can share and invite your friends. From the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep you can either walk down the same way we came up, or have a red car drive you down. Walking from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep all the way back to the starting point takes about one hour.
What to bring:
-Wear comfy shoes
-Sunscreen (if you need it)
-Insect repellant (if you need it)

If you wish to hike up to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, do notice it is a temple area and you should dress accordingly.
