The numbers of L. acidophilus were determined using MRS Agar.
10 g of
sample was taken from each soymilk drink samples. Serial ten-fold
dilutions were prepared in a solution of with 0.1% (w/v) bacto
peptone.Appropriate dilutions were plated to MRS Agar plates and
incubated at 37 C for 3 days under microaerophilic conditions.After the incubation period, the colonies were
counted and the number of L. acidophilus was calculated.
