The end of Buddhist Lent Day falling on the 15th of waxing moon of the 11th of lunar month is one of the most important religious days for all Buddhist. It’s the day that The Lord Buddha came back from visiting his mother in the heaven so people held the welcoming ceremony for him. Besides, it’s the day remarking the end of rainy season, the period of time that the monks cannot stay overnight in another monastery.
What to see and do :
• Offer many kinds of food to the monks (Tak Bat Thewo ceremony) and listen to the sermon at the temple
