Trustworthiness
Multiple strategies were used to ensure trustworthiness of the
research findings. First, triangulation where two methods,
in-depth interviews and FGDs, were used to collect data in
this study and the data were compared across data collection
methods. In addition, four groups of participants were included
(mothers, fathers, grandmothers and teenage mothers) and
data were compared across these four groups. Finally, themes
were identified independently by the first author and T.D., one
of the co-authors.
