Finally, sport managers may use these results to manage perceptions of fairness in an effort to reduce intra group conflict. Specifically, it is clear that the processes for which decisions are made within relatively small sport organizations, such as CVBs and sport commissions, need to be clearly articulated to employees to reduce the presence of disagreement among members. For instance, if the budget is to be allocated according to the size of events that are being hosted by a sport commission, the process of defining size and allocation must be communicated effectively. Specifically, enough information should be presented to employees so that they feel they understand the process and that their role is respected in the process. When managing sport organizations that are smaller in size, the ability to provide information to each staff member increases as the scope of communication is smaller. As such, the ability to reduce the potential negative ramifications of intra group conflict may be increased.
