This paper examined the individual and simultaneous effect of leaders and workers on organisations goal attainment. Survey method was adopted in this study, with closed-structured questionnaire as instrument of data gathering. A total of 125 respondents were used. Perceptive data on organisational goal attainment was regressed against the two independent variables, leadership and workers attitudes. The estimated regression results showed that both leadership and workers attitude affect organisational performance significantly with F-value of 26.92 and adjusted R2of 0.295 at 0.05 confidence level. The t-tests for the explanatory variables were also significant, with workers’ attitude exhibiting a curious negative transformational effect. It is proffered that integrated approach should be adopted by the management of organisations to address human resources need by attracting, keeping and motivating people with a view to contributing their best to clearly defined organisation goals. Leaders should not always be task oriented but be more of situational leader with transformational intent while applying their traits to tide over business storm.
