Nesting successOf a total of 2,297 nesting attempts recorded during the 5-year study period, 805 were false crawls (35%). Therefore, the nesting success at the Kosgoda beach during the study period was 65%. There was a significant increase in the number of false crawls with increasing number of nests (Fig. 4; Pearson’s Correlation r = 0.388; p < 0.01).
