Job descriptions:

Developing purchasing plan, supplier strategies and sourcing program. Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Identifying new materials, methods and potential sources of supply. Optimizing the purchasing benefits to the company, and developing specific recommendations to the management (localization project).
Forecasting price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Performing cost and delivers scenario analysis, and benchmarking to assess, manage and mitigate potential risks to the company.
Optimizing and continuously reviewing the purchasing cost and delivery times with on-going initiatives to realize optimization potential.
Investigating and correcting supply problems in alignment with other departments (Engineering, Quality Management) to minimize their impact on project time lines
Negotiates terms on major contracts and approves Purchase Orders and Contracts. Monitoring and assessing supplier performance and initiating improvements.
Developing and reviewing annual working plan and breaking down the targets to all members of the Purchasing Department.
Perform all activities in conformity with the company rules and the company quality system (ISO9001)
Continuous reporting of purchasing relevant key performance indicators to respective recipients in the organization.
Developing competences and skill levels of the purchasing team.
