Crowdsourcing is used to source ideas, often for new or existing product
development. This means the community is tasked with creating ideas from
scratch while also improving on and ranking ideas.
Examples of invention include Dell’s Idea Storm (www.dellideastorm.com) and
My Starbucks Idea (www.mystarbucksidea.com).
