Red Globe’ table grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) were harvested from
a commercial vineyard located in Mersin, Turkey, at commercial
maturity during the 2008 and 2009 season. After harvest, the grapes
were immediately transported via a ventilated truck to cold storage
facilities located at the Department of Horticulture at Mustafa
Kemal University (Antakya, Hatay), and the grapes were subjected
to forced air cooling. After sorting and removing the small and
decaying berries, the remaining fruit were divided into 2 groups
and were used for two different experiments.
