Thailand is not a dictatorship and hasn't been since around WW2. Thailand is like England. The queen is only in name. Have you ever seen Queen Elizabeth and royal families around the world mingle among their working class citizens? Our King travelled by foot deep into very rural villages to be among the people who need his help. His majesty and his royal family have been among us not for photo shoots but for real. He's the tie that we all thais have in common: our love for our King. As for dictatorship, I think you're talking about North Korea which doesn't even have a king but just a little man like Kim Jong il (ewww!). Our King cares for his people and no he isn't a dictator. If you would broaden your knowledge and do more research on this subject, you'll see that our King is extraordinary. His majesty isn't a figure head. He is the Father (and no I'm not saying that He's God) to all Thais. Long Live the King.
