The below excerpt one of my friends and supporters just sent to me, regarding comments that misrepresent the Park and our work. My friend thought that i should address this. Normally i have no time for this, as we have so many who want to attack us from behind, especially as we work to change the situation of animal and many people lose the benefit and want to drag us down. I admit to surprise when the people who say that they work for animal criticise us badly in the same breath. Not long ago, we had a man who wrote the elephant database who recorded that ENP cut the tusk from HOPE our young bull elephant. It was said that the tusk was cut too short and that infection ensued and that he died. At that time, many people wrote to us, concerned on this. Fact, Hope was born with no Tusks and he is still quite alive, even in his Musth period now he roams free. That is just to say that rumours can spread that cannot be substantiated. If any one knows the one who comments below , please tell her that I invite her to stay one week in the park, not just a day; then she might be able to see all that we do, and the scale of our work. We welcome others to always learn more about us, and not to rely on the rumours of others.

Ellen ..You are wrong about the chaining. There are elephants who are kept chained for most of the day on concrete at ENP."
