Well in line with this, the third species, A. brevispica Harms [Leguminosae], has an alternative Kinyarwanda name ‘Bwara’, which if translated into English would mean ‘small nails’, of course not of a cat, because cats themselves are a recent introduction in Rwanda. It is important to note that, unfortunately, the Kinyarwanda name applied to the four species ‘u-mu-gey-o’ has no clear meaning in Kinyarwanda Language.
