Students are to take the information from someone's past experiences and discuss or write how that would help that person know what to expect.

2. Randy might be sad or grieving; you could listen to him or help him write a poem in honor of his mother, for example.
3. Steve could paint, draw, help assemble things without tools.

Sometimes you can figure out what to do without a word, simply by paying attention to what is going on. Students are to write or discuss what is expected in each situation and to underline the clue words in each item.
