Bovine tuberculosis caused by Mycobaterium bovis is an important zoonosis worldwide. In Thailand bovine tuberculosis has been reported regularly in cattle population (NIAH, DLD, THAILAND). Recommended diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis is single intradermal tuberculin test (SID). However, SID requires animal restraint and cannot discriminate infections of non-tuberculous mycobacteria from tuberculous mycobacteria. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a very sensitive and specific technique to detect pathogens in biological samples. Milk can be a good biological sample for diagnosis of diseases in dairy cattle. Therefor, the objective of the study is to compare efficiency of using milk DNA extracted from multiple methods for bovine tuberculosis diagnosis using LAMP
