We demonstrate the applicability of the generalized MDM for IVPs of multi-order nonlinear fractional ODEs.
We have
considered the cases of orders belonging to the set of real numbers, orders belonging to the set of rational numbers, and
other types of IVPs for nonlinear fractional ODEs.
For the IVPs considered, the generalized MDM provides a convenient recurrence
algorithm for the coefficients an of the generalized power series solution uðtÞ ¼
P1n
¼0anðt t0Þkn.
Compared with the
ADM, such as in Example 7, the recurrence operation for the coefficients an does not involve integration.
The fast generation
algorithms for the Adomian polynomials guarantee the efficiency of the present method for solutions of nonlinear fractional
ODEs.
