Please find the below critical points and procedure that needs to be looked into seriously during the after operation hours of the swimming pool. This is very important and is the weakness of the safety area of our swimming pool. Also, do go through the attached pool manual with your team on the procedure and detailed standards provided.

The main issue I would like to pass on to you is when the pool is closed and unattended by our staff. This area must be well looked after as we do not want any of our guests in the pool on their own to avoid any incident. Please see the standards and procedure you must adhere to in order to protect and enforce the safety of our guests and staff.

Standards After Operating Hours

Pool attendants to handover pool premises to security officer after operating hours.
After operating hours the pool area must be closed from all entry.
Pool entrance must be closed and locked.
For accessible pool area without entrance, security officer must guard all pool entry at all times.
Another qualified security officer may replace security during their breaks.
All pool and area must be fully lit at night
CCTV available in an angle that will provide display through the area clearly.
All lifesaving equipment to be ready and set at location at ease to be used.
Security officer responsible for pool area must be certified in CPR and AED training.
Proper communication to be done with guest who intends to use the pool or pool area after operating hours
Multiple languages signage to be shown to guest for clear explanation.
If there is no cooperation from the guest the security must radio informing the security office.
The security must never leave the guests in the pool by themselves.
The security officer must contact the duty manager or night manager to come to the pool area and communicate with the guest.
The duty manager or night manager also needs to be certified in CPR and AED training.
To successfully ask the guest to come up and leave the pool premises.
Both security and duty/night managers to complete a report in their logbooks.
