Factory had review the information provided regarding this rubber block issue and concluded that it does not establish that the cause of the reported failure was the result of a defect in material or workmanship on the part of Twin Disc. It does suggest that the source of the failure potentially an alignment or torsional incomparability issue within the drive train system.
.
Disregarding propulsion system alignment or torsional compatibility could cause damage to components in the drive train resulting in loss of mobility. At minimum, system incompatibility could result in gear clatter at low speeds.
.
The responsibility for ensuring that the alignment and torsional compatibility of the propulsion system is satisfactory rests with the assembler of the drive and driven equipment.
.
This claim is therefore denied.
