Experiments were performed in triplicate. Statistical analyses of
the obtained results were performed using the SAS version 9.3.
Data were subjected to the one-way analysis of variance
(ANOVA) for comparison of pectin samples results obtained
after conventional extraction of tomato waste in ammonium
oxalate/oxalic acid on different temperatures.
For comparison purposes, the influence of extraction temperatures
and times on chemical parameters of pectin samples
obtained after ultrasound assisted extractions (ultrasonic bath) of
tomato waste in ammonium oxalate/oxalic acid was performed
using two-factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA). Mean values
were compared by t test (LSD), and they are considered significantly
different at p 6 0.001.
