ANALYSISOFWATERMARKINGTECHNIQUESOF DIFFERENTDOMAINS From the survey of different techniques of spatial domain it is concluded that the techniques in spatial domain are simple, has low complexity and can be used for only authentication. They are less costly can embed more number of bits so capacity is strong. If LSB techniques are combined with other techniques then only if shows good performance. But these methods are less resistant to different types of attacks. From survey of different techniques of frequency domain it has been concluded that techniques in this domain are more complex, involves large overhead, more costly. In frequency domain techniques, more information bits cannot be embedded in the coefficients as it degrades image quality. Techniques in this domain are used for copyright protection and provide strong robustness against different types of attacks which is the main aim of any watermarking technique. If distortions are made into an image it will cause the serious problem. It has been concluded that to minimize distortions and to increase capacity, techniques in this domain must be combined with another techniques which has high capacity and strong robustness against different types of attacks.
