According to Doug Ferguson, Justin Rose will not play the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship or the Farmers Insurance Open because of some right shoulder tendinitis.
The injury is not serious and hopefully the reigning US Open champ can heal up by the time the majors roll around. He has only missed three of the past 28 major championships.
Rose's agent, Mark Steinberg, said Rose will probably start his season at some point in February.
