“She’ll leave me” I whispered. “Puta, man up! If you love her, you will tell her the truth and if she loves you enough she might forgive you” Dani said. “I’m scared Dani” I sighed. “Neymar listen, I can see that you love her a lot. She might leave you, but she might also forgive you. You can always beg for forgiveness and hope that she takes you back” Dani said and patted my shoulder. I sighed deeply and pulled on my hair in frustration. “I don’t know if I can do this” I yelled in anger. “Tell her tomorrow or I’ll tell her” Dani said. “What? No! Dani please” I begged. “Do it tomorrow okay? Believe me bro, you don’t want to live with such a lie” Dani said. He was right and maybe I did need this push from Dani. “I’ll tell her tomorrow” I sighed with a heavy heart and mind. “If you don’t, I surely will” Dani reminded me. “She has to hear it from me, so I’ll tell her” I said as tears filled my eyes. “Are you crying?” Dani asked in disbelief. “This is what she does to me” I whispered and blinked away the tears. “I guess you really do love her” Dani said and looked at me like he felt sorry for me. “Puta, that’s what I have been telling you the whole time” I groaned. He smirked and punched my shoulder. “Now, let’s play Fifa ’15 before my woman and kids get back” Dani grinned and shoved a game console into my hands. We ended up playing for a few hours until his family arrived home. “Thanks bro for everything” I said and gave Dani a bro hug. “Make sure you do it tomorrow!” he warned. I nodded, waved goodbye to his family and left his house. I drove to Olive’s place and texted her that I was parked outside. “I’ll open, wait” she texted back. I walked to the front door and she opened it a minute later. She was wearing a fluffy pajama and looked adorable. “Hi my cute bunny” I chuckled and pecked her lips. “Come on in” she giggled and let me inside. “Here” I said and handed her a box. “What’s this?” she asked. “Period survival kit” I smirked.I needed one night with her, one happy night before I confessed what I had done to her. I was lost in my thoughts as I followed her to her bedroom. “Ney?” she said. “Yeah” I replied. “Are you alright?” she asked. “Yes, why?” I asked. “You seem somewhere else with your thoughts” she said. “I’m sorry baby, I was just thinking about the friendly match against Chile” I lied. “Are you nervous?” she asked. I shook my head and kissed her temple. “Check the box” I smiled. She nodded and sat down on her bed. “Chocolate, Chamomile tea, more chocolate, hot water bottle, some painkillers for period pains and…” she counted but then she gasped. I observed her face beaming with happiness. “You framed our first instagram picture!” she squealed. “Like it?” I asked, amused. “Like? Love it!” she squealed and stared at the picture like a little kid stares at ice cream. She then threw her hands around my neck and hugged me tightly. “Olive, not so tight” I groaned. She giggled and loosened the grip around my neck. “Baby you are making my heart melt” she sighed and showered my face with kisses. “I would do anything to make you happy Olive, because I love you so much” I whispered as I looked into her eyes. “I love you too” she whispered back and I saw that her eyes got a little watery. “Baby, no crying okay?” I cooed. “You take my breath away each and every time with the things you do for me and sometimes I just want to cry out of happiness” she sighed. Her eyes filled with more tears and a tear escaped the corner of her eye. I wrapped my arms around her little waist and placed her head against my chest. “Please don’t cry, it breaks my heart” I whispered into her ear. “Blame it on the periods” she said and a smile curved her lips. “My silly girl” I chuckled and kissed her hair. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes in complete silence, because no words were needed for either of us. The perfect moment, the perfect silence and the perfect woman in my arms, I couldn’t ask nor wish for more, except that she would forgive me.
