Customer is the financial company who got a serious impact from this outage almost 40 minutes in business hour as we captured and sent you earlier (see below). Our customer has been chasing us and need the official report.
The investigating result from your team indicating on the FMS that there was no alarm during that period (14:41 – 15:19 GMT+7 on 30Jan2015). From our experience, if your FMS is the ‘fault management system’ which is the centralized system of alarm collection from many servers that manage various equipments in your network through SNMP or whatever protocol, I recommend you to use it only for preliminarily investigation, not deep investigation, because the alarm synchronization process was sometimes dead or malfunctioned that cause missing alarm on monitoring system like this time.
Obviously, we detected the AU_AIS alarm at the demarcation point of TH/MY facing TM, please dig down to each equipment or proprietary server managing such equipments to find out the alarm and the cause of problem, and get back to us as soon as possible.
