Chlorophyll content in leaves was affected by the different EDB inoculated to seeds (Fig. 5). However, at some monitoring
time, there was a significant (P=0.05) increase in chlorophyll content in leaves of rice plants after inoculation with
each bacterium. Inoculation with any of the EDB strains tested resulted in significantly (P=0.05) higher chlorophyll
content at the time of harvest. However, Burkholderia sp. SS5 significantly (P=0.05) increased the chlorophyll content at all
stages, compared to non-inoculated plants.
