The Cobrey website isn’t that different to our original concept - see attached.
The white background of the Cobrey site being the only real difference in the Products section. I like the freshness of the white background.
We were then asked to treat the product photos as circular not square based on another preferred site at that time.
We need to settle on a preferred direction so we are not chasing our tail and refining the layout continuously to suit the next site reference. We can certainly keep refining but the more we change the design the more the impact on cost and I’d prefer not to have to charge extra for continual changes.
That said, based on your Cobrey reference, I feel we are more aligned to our original thinking.
I do like our rounded corners of the photos as this references the rounded nature of your logo. We could review visuals of square corner and round.
Change the coloured backgrounds to white to clean the site up.
Perhaps look at larger Product photos with Product category titles underneath the photo, as per Cobrey and our last design file.
Once you’re happy with this visual (no extra charge) we can move to the build. We can then load in content into the built site.
What do you think of all this approach?
