As a recognized international brand, Visa is always under attack from cybercriminals. While Visa has excellent technical controls to mitigate these attacks, cybercriminals can take advantage of the human link to damage Visa’s brand. As employees, we must do our best to recognize phishing, vishing, smishing or other social engineering attacks and report them before they can escalate.
Please note that you were included in this phishing training campaign as you have clicked on multiple phishing training emails in the past. Failure to recognize and report phishing emails exposes Visa to greater security risk. Your actions can expose Visa to a security incident and your diligence can prevent it. Note that 90% of the staff that was sent the New Years Sales phishing email did not click.
Learn how to recognize and report these attacks by taking the eLearning modules or visiting the link on phishing, vishing, and smishing. All suspected phishing and social engineering should be reported to phishing@visa.com.
