The laboratory test setup consist of an inverter driven three-phase induction motor (110 kW, 400 V) and 400
kW DC-generator which are connected back-to-back on a test bench (Fig. 2). In test the driven motor was
driven at the constant speed and torque step sequence was generated by the load. A wired torque
measurement unit, Torque Master TM-214, was used as a reference measurement. The wired torque
measurement system uses the sampling frequency of 2500 Hz. The wireless torque measurement system is
placed on the shaft of 110 kW motor Fig. 2. The wired torque measurement system is placed between the
shaft couplers (Fig. 2).
