You can climb the serpent stairs, the path, or take the lift up to this historical site on Khao Tang Kuan mountain. Beautiful views in all directions of the Gulf of Thailand and Songkhla Lake. You can see the Sala Vihan Daeng, royal pavilion built during reign of King Rama V, or the Dvaravati chedi tower, with the Buddha relics, ring the temple bells for good luck, pose by the brass prayer bell collection or pose by the bell heart frames. Long-tailed Macaques come out of the jungle and approach people because locals buy fruit from vendors to feed them. You can look out to the north/west and see Samila Beach, just below, with its many vendor stands.
