Classification tables were computed by using a linear combination of parameters across categories as the n × n tables for multinomial logistic regression, which tally correct and incorrect estimates, to assess the validity of each test or test combination to distinguish one class from the others. The cutoff of 0.5 was used as the positive outcome threshold. The predicted diagnostic class was compared with the observed class as the reference category in terms of sensitivity and specificity.
