The approval process for purchase requisitions has to follow the strict “4-eyes” principle. This means that a purchase requisition has to approve by two-people – the person who requires the items, and a further person (usually the first person’s line manager) with the necessary approval rights. This is also referred to as the “segregation of duties” principle.
