Preparation of plant tissue samples for ELISA
Tissue samples were removed and separated into individual parts, e.g. petiole and stolon sections. Each sample was
wrapped in tin foil and immediately frozen by immersion in liquid nitrogen. The frozen tissue was ground using a pestle and then added to PBST in the ratio of approximately 200 mg : 15 ml and stored at ÿ20 C injection site, 18±22 cm and 38±42 cm from the injection site, i.e. towards the developing daughter plants
