In the past, the cost-benefit of solar cell is very expensive. But the common benefit of solar energy is its renewability. The sun shines anywhere in the world every day. However, there has two primary disadvantages. The first disadvantage is it is not persistent or it can change continuously along the period of the time. We do not know that one day or some other day how much energy our solar panels will be able to create. This is one of the problem so far especially in some areas where cannot forecast the days are not have sunny. Unfortunately, the price was high cost as well. Actually, we can keep a lot of energy in batteries, but it can be oversized of battery. We have to collect excess batteries in house or company that is expensive. The second problem at the moment is the equipment of solar cell is quite expensive both for homeowners and for company because it needed to efficiently collect and convert the sunlight to electricity. Moreover, in the early 1970s, solar power used for satellite only. We also known as solar-power-satellite or Space-based solar power. Therefore it is very few country where used solar energy in the last decades. The early development of solar power started in the 1860s. However, this development of solar technologies popular in the early of 20th century in the time of increasing economy, petroleum, availability and utility of coal. The strategy of development focused on incentive program such as the Federal Photovoltaic Utilization Program in the US and the Sunshine Program in Japan, or even in Germany. In 2007 China produced 1700 MW of solar panels, it is a half of the world production. Therefore, solar power in the People's Republic of China is one of the biggest industries in mainland China and about 99% was exported. As the result, in 2010 less than 0.1% of total US energy consumption came from photoelectric systems. However, the government should find the new target emission reductions from any sources, rather than focus on the same kind of renewable energy. To compare with wind turbines the research cannot fine which technology is better. Both technology have their benefits and which technology is best depends very much on the application and the location of the system. Wind turbines are an area where buying cheap but compared to solar, turbines are extremely location sensitive. The easiest way to say is finding the right site, and a turbine can be unbeatable, finding the wrong site, and they can be a complete waste of money and time.
