Triploidy rate was determined for thermal shock induced
and control groups in hybrid and parental
species and presented in Table 3. Application of
20min thermal shock at 26.5 1C for 25min post fertilizationwas
useful to produce allotriploid hybrid and
autotriploid parental species. High rate autotriploids
were produced by heat shock induced in Black Sea
trout, rainbow trout and allotriploid in the shock-induced
hybrid groups. Besides, mating male Black Sea
trout and female rainbow trout produced a high rate
of allotriploid hybrids (57.8%) spontaneously.
