criteria. After four years, no statistically significant
differences in dmft and dmfs values of the two
groups were found. The DMFT and DFS values
were slightly, but not statistically significantly,
smaller in the 7 to 9 year old children of the test
group, than in the control. The assumption for these
results was that the dose of fluoride in the milk was
too low and that the period of consumption was
not long enough to show an effect.
