DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION
- complainant must show that they are disabled within the meaning of s 1 of the DDA 1995—Goodwin v The Patent Office (1999); Kapadia v London Borough of Lambeth (2000);
- employer has a duty to make reasonable adjustments (Rideout v TC Group (1998); Kenny v Hampshire Constabulary (1999); Fu v London Borough of Camden (2000)).
- The Disability Rights Commission oversees the operation of the DDA 1995 and the rights of disabled persons under the Act.
