THE government will pay all medical expenses for people injured in the bomb and arson attacks in major tourist cities in the South on Thursday and Friday, Public Health Ministry permanent secretary Sophon Mekthon said yesterday.
Fourteen Thais and eight foreigners are receiving medical treatment in hospitals, while one person has already been discharged.
"All patients are in a stable condition and looked after closely by medical personnel,'' Sophon said.
The ministry has also dispatched mental health teams to provide therapy for families of those who were killed in the attacks, he said.
