Nokia truck would not arrive in timeliness, then impacted to a group of vehicles’ reservation by suppliers and lost opportunity to run it was not only for NOKIA, but also they couldn’t switch to use for another shipments by impacted to trucks’ cancellation with suppliers directly against suppliers’ contracts.
We should learn from this case…….
TPT would know and receive late of arrival information as mentioned from supplier in last night, then TPT would collaborate internally with suppliers under TPT supervision to cancel and/or switch to use for another shipments, certainly a cancelation’s cost with suppliers won’t occur.
This is why we should immediately raise up internally in positive way, talking together carefully without conflicts for reviews owned process, a solution by challenging to fleet’s controller of core supplier for evaluated his travelling time against broadcasting news activated to our TH DGF operation team in advance at Day 0. Finally, we can close gap of unawareness of proactive works from supplier and cancellation costs (truck + manpower) with all supplier.
