Thanks you for your patience while we were investigating your issue. Here at Hostelworld.com - all bookings are confirmed based on the information provided by the properties themselves. In the unfortunate event where there is a problem, such as the one you reported we would always have to contact the property to investigate what happened.
Unfortunately in your case we are still trying to get a reply from the hostel and an explanation as to how they made a mistake. In order to draw this issue to a close for you quickly we have issued a refund of your deposit down payment on their behalf.
Once again thank you for your patience while we have been trying to assist you with your issue, my sincerest apologies for this issue occurring and any inconvenience this may have caused you- unfortunately this was outside of our control as it seems to have been caused due to an administration error directly at the property.
