The regular feedback from our customers regarding the PPT3000 is very satisfying- the most service trips for the PPT is about installation and training for a new machine purchased.
Service incidents for the PPT are rare in our territory and the Installation and training is the main reason for service trips in combination with the PPT.
We always recommend our customers to buy several spare parts since they are worried about the deliver time in case of an urgent service issue.
Since we are in Bangkok we replaced mainly the valves (Coca Cola in Malaysia and OB Beer in South Korea) and the water cylinder (in Vietnam for Pepsico). But those service cases are not negatively influencing the customers expectation of the machine. The customers are mainly happy to understand easily in how the machine works and how they profit from it.
Altech is integrating the PPT in their automated handling system which is a good for the general Sale figures for the PPT. We could also promote the PPT in Australia.
We could successfully push Wesergold in Germany to buy another PPT for their plant in Rinteln while we have more discussion about it for selling it here in Asia.
For Wesergoldf it is their third PPT3000 within the last couple of months and they do not have any open service issues so far.
In general our (former) European customers are very satisfied with the PPT3000 operations and test results they receive from it. Since here is the competition not only limited to Somex (we have seen other copies on local shows- i.e. PEBT 4000 from china – www.cannee.com)

we see a slight difference in the demand here in Asia compared to our former European territory.
Our Arguments for the PPT:
- MRULE presentation and highlighting the advantage of Shelf life prediction/calculation
- Installation and maintenance provided by us and individual training for the customer
- 24 h service
- High quality standards and guarantee for delivering spare parts even after years after purchase
Discounts are discussed on a case to case basis as always. Since the margin is relatively low we try on focus on package deals.
