complex class shows that the modifications made were minor. It
means that most of the code from this modified class was reused.
Table 5 presents Pre-ID and Post-ID classes’ ratios with respect to
the total number of classes, total size, and total complexity, for the
4 categories of the 42 implemented classes. On the one hand Pre-
ID activities account for only a third (12% + 22%) of the total
number of classes. On the other hand, Pre-ID activities account
for 77% (35% + 42%) of the size as measured by the total number
of executable LOC and 72% (34% + 38%) of the complexity as
measure by the WMC metric.
