HRA-ER has set up a scholarship for children’s employee project for a month and it will be terminated within this coming August. However, there are currently on 50 candidates applied for the project. The key reasons why the numbers of candidates do not reach the set target are that a majority of employees’ children do not have GPA of 3.00 and they live in other provinces. As a result, it takes such a long time to deliver their documents to the company.
As mentioned above, the labour relation team proposes to reduce GPA from 3.00 to 2.70 and extend application period for one more month which will be until 31 September 2014. Attached to this email is revised document requesting permission for re-announcement.
