Business and social psychology, HR and management research can offer relevant and useful information to guide organizational practices. Shen et al. (2009) offer a nice review of managing diversity through HR and a framework of HR diversity management. Jayne and Dipboye (2004) also provide an excellent review on leveraging diversity to improve business performance. Even though research about the effectiveness of diversity training is still quite young (Pendry et al. , 2007), this article demonstrates that there exists enough evidence-based information to guide organizations in delivering and evaluating diversity training.
