Where Law and Callon’s approach most clearly contributes is in making the connection between practice and
project trajectories, based around the three elements: strength of global network, strength of local network and
nature of connection between the two. Thus, the extent to which actors within each of those two networks could
be cohesively mobilised was seen to help us understand why the project initially ran into problems and, later,
why it was able to move to implement project deliverables. This also required an understanding of the connections
between the two networks.
