Opportunistic Large
Array (OLA) is nothing but a cluster of network
nodes which use active scattering mechanism in
response to the signal of the source called leader. The
intermediate nodes opportunistically relay the
messages from the leader to the sink. OLAs are
considerably flexible and scalable in nature. For
cooperative transmission, OLA selects the nodes
which have the received signal SNR above some
threshold figure and since the resonance generated by
relay nodes carries the actual messages to the desired
sinks without causing interference.
