Design Phase
Step1. Design distribution part
– Create splitter boundary
– Calculate a number of used core & a number of splitter in the distribution
area base on maximum BB penetration & True’s Market share target in next
5 years & Spare maintenance.
Step2. Design feeder part
– Design a sizing of feeder to support all distribution areas which a feeder fiber
passes
Implementation Phase
Step1. Implement the feeder fiber to a selected distribution area.
Step2. Implement all distribution fiber in the selected distribution area.
Step3. Initial splitters as Sale target.
– In high penetration area, should initial capacity of splitter port to support as maximum BB
penetration.
– In uncertain penetration area, should initial capacity of splitter port at least 30%-50%
houses.
– On demand, additional splitter can add on demand base on customer growth ( require SLA )
