THE CHALLENGE OF
THE NEW MILLENNIUM
A new period had just unfolded. As we ushered into the new millennium, we
had mixed feelings. We expected the worst to happen, especially the thought that the millennium bug would succeed in paralyzing our activities or to make us totally inutile.
Nothing of that too place, but this not stopped us from pondering on what else
can follow. Having seen the worst in our midst, we cannot help but allow fear and anxiety to affect us.
Rather than feel crippled and alarmed by such thoughts, we should brace ourselves for the challenge of the future. After all, we are still God’s greatest handiwork and He is committed to helping us. Changing our perspective to the positive will make us hope for the best. If we have experienced some of the worst, many great things can also take place to manifest God’s wisdom in us.
